" All the people I'll kill? What about my wife's life! She was killed but nobody cared! So why should I care about a species who never cared about me!?" He screams down at me for where he was standing.
" You're running out of time Cameron." Drew says mockingly. He's right! I am!

They say when good and evil collide, fear and hope are born. As the fear starts to grow so does the hope, until they can't grow anymore and have to face each other, but the question is which one will prevail? Will the fear of the people over come the hope or will the hope over come all of the fear in the people's hearts. People will answer that question differently, but really it's up to you to decide which will win. because in a world with fear everywhere a little hope could spark a lot of change.

The Hero's Guide to Heroing
A story about superheroes in a modern world. Once, humans and power wielders were at war. The war brought both side to the brink of destruction, forcing peace or extinction. A tentative peace prevailed for a time. Enough to build trust between the two sides for many years. But as the two sides grew together some of the old hatreds began to stir again. Those who held these old hatreds became known as villains, while those who fought them became known as heroes. "Are you sure this will work?" one of the figures around the table ask. All are dressed in black and hide their faces. No one wants to be known to anyone else in 'this' type of alliance. "I'm certain of it. We need to simply kill the few true heroes left, and then expose the rest for the self righteous corrupt creatures they are. I've already started gathering the pieces I need." "What's the end goal here?" a third figure asks. "To purge the world of corruption and all those who turn a blind eye to it." There is a long silence before a fourth voice speaks out. "Your talking about mass slaughter. I won't be a part of this." the figure stands and begins to leave the table. "It seems there is corruption in our very own ranks.... I suppose the best place to start is within the inner vessel, is it not?" "No! What are you Doing? Stop!"

Terrible things happen to good people. Such is the world we live in. It doesn't matter who or what you are, sometimes there's no avoiding despair. There are those who lose loved ones, and can't cope with the pain. Those who are cast out by society, just for being themselves. Those who would do anything for the people they care about...even kill. We always question the things that happen to us, and wonder why we were unlucky enough to have it transpire. Note: I don't believe you need to read the first book but I think it'd be more fun if you did. (The Bad Boy's Secret) This story may be triggering at some points. If you have any questions regarding that please don't hesitate to message me. When you're a loser and friendless nerd you stick to what you're supposed to do. You get good grades, deal with the bullying and attempt to forget the past. But there are things an everyday nerd, such as myself should clearly not do. One: Don't crush on the most popular girl in school. Two: Be sure not to get sidetracked in your studies by including yourself in electives and such. Three: Don't get superpowers. Now what to do when, possibly, you might have done all the following listed above? This wasn't like a test where I just knew the answer. So you can imagine how long it took me to come up with the realization of what I should become. Or in other words, who I should become! Maybe I shouldn't have been begging for a change because this is a bit much...

Lily nodded as he continued giving her the gun lesson. She was shocked this is why he brought her in here. Maybe he was getting her ready for training. But her, no one else. "Alright, you take the magazine out. It has a magazine release button you must press first." He slid a black piece out of the gun, it was where the bullets were stashed. "Then, you load it up. I won't do that right now. But after that, you shove it back in. Then you cock the gun back, find a target and pull the trigger." "Oh, so it's that easy." She smirked. "Yeah, but how good is your aim?" He returned the smirk. His hands still clasped over hers holding the gun. "Well, do you think you can handle a gun now?" "I think so." She liked the warmth of his palms and the calluses on them.
