After the 17 year old Deryn lost her parents in a tragic car accident she gets to live with old friends of her parents. When getting  told that the basement is strictly forbidden she decides to take a look. After touching a mirror with a strangely embellished, golden frame she ends up in a steampunk world.  when she entered this world she only wanted one thing, getting home as soon as possible. But how? Follow Deryn on her journey through a world with highly advanced technology, a corrupt government and fantasy figures to find a way home. Will she succeed and find a way back to the mansion of her guardians unharmed, or will she get stuck in the war between the corrupt government and a resistance group?All Rights Reserved
