Lost and lonely.
It was a rainy day with no one but myself around, I've looked for days, months, years but nothing. It was February 25, 2038 everyone went missing. So far I think I'm the last person alive. I'm only a 12 year old girl, I had a brother but he went missing one night he was 19. Before this whole people missing throughout the world I was a little girl who just helped her mom with animals.

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day.
