The Invaders Must Die
By the year 2015 humans have developed practical means of interstellar travel, but as they expand further out into the Milky Way, they disturb a previously unknown race of alien beings. Very shortly after the USAs United National Space Command [UNSC] discovers their exsitence, the aliens, known as Ecarians, send several scouting parties out to find the humans planet. One of the scouting parties lands outside of Des Plaines, Illinois which has a heavy population of supernaturals.
