Six lives in garbage stretching to the edge of the two-milers that block out the gray sun. His people, the last free contractors in a one corporation world, are dying out. When a cave-in and a discovery give his people hope, Six realizes that he has to help his people. He starts by weaning himself off the corporate water, a task that forces him to leave miner land and venture into the city. Six becomes a pawn in a drug scheme, the originator of a new fashion trend, and possibly the most deadly threat to World Corp's existence since the end of the corporate wars.
