Welcome to the Drama Parade by Lindzaya

This is the story of the Durban High School Marching Band in small-town California. It's a small but big-enough band with just the right number of students in each section. With this comes just a few great friendships... and even greater drama, fights, bullying, and division. Among the students and among the parents in the band boosters. This drama is at its peak early in the season, a little before band camp and even at points in between band camp and competition season. Their show this season, though, is themed from My Chemical Romance's album The Black Parade. Some are so excited while others are enraged about the theme. Watch how a few band kids stomp this drama, fighting, and bullying to help everybody finally get along. Many students in the marching band are fighting their own battles off the field. Why exactly do they finally take a stand for cooperation, kindness, and acceptance the very year they perform an MCR-based show? How will they end the Drama Parade and turn it into a Kind and Caring Parade for all? Most importantly, how do they end up being the best marching band on the west coast and winning the championships after all this drama and fighting which had left them hopeless for a while? Told in several different points of view, of some students and the band director. Rights to the inclusion of MCR members in this story belong to MCR themselves. I do not own these characters. WARNING: contains some homophobia, transphobia, racism, bullying, violence, foul language, and mentions of depression, suicidal thoughts, and anxiety. Please read with caution!

Julius believes life is about taking what you want and controlling what you don't understand. But since his little brother was killed by a rival crew, his control is a lie, and his path is nothing but rage. He's locked in a cycle of debt and dangerous loyalty, forced to fight a street war for his father's sins. The only thing that quiets the noise, the only light in the chaos, is Infinity-a girl who doesn't even know his story, but whose family was ruined by the same life he's trapped in. She is his escape. His redemption. But getting close to her means betraying his crew, abandoning his father, and letting his brother's death go unavenged. And in this life, leaving isn't an option. It's a death sentence.
