Walter has decided to spend some time alone in the woods. He is being followed by the biggest bear for his obnoxious amount of food. As he hikes further from his home, he begins to run out of resources. Being attack by the bear many times, he finds an abandoned log cabin with a friendly dog. The dog, Hopkins, soon becomes his best friend and helps him find the resources he needs to survive. Will he make it?

Halloween collab story me and my bf wrote for a contest. It's extremely personal and it refers to irl situation that are hard to handle. This story is the biggest finished project I've ever done. The final length is 17k words. This story starts light and soft and slowly escalates into madness. Please, if you can't digest blood, violence and swears stop right here and don't read further.
