After Clary has stabbed Jace, and Sebastian flees. Or so they think, she's left alone with Jace on the site of the battle (The Seventh Sacred Site) whom is believed to be dead. Sebastian manages to easily kidnap her, and drag her deep into the demon realms. Whilst each believe the other to be dead, they have to survive without the other clinging to hope that one day they'll be reunited. Without Jace, Clary goes along with Sebastian's plan depressed, homesick and pregnant...
