This is a fictional story of a bachelor who later fell in love with a lady who was an asthmatic patient, though, she couldn't tell him because of the love she had for him and was afraid he may threaten to leave her if she discloses her illness to him. The both lovers agreed to get married, but unfortunately, the bride-Lydia was found dead on the night to the wedding day as a result of her innate asthma. This was later disclosed to the groom- Frederic on the wedding day which made him nearly kill himself
