This story is going to be a rollercoaster ride. I'll say that right away. Besides the cliché reasons, e.g. it'll have its ups and downs, there are the honest reasons. Whenever you get on a rollercoaster, whether you're excited or frightened, you'll have that 2-second moment of doubt. Why did I get on this thing? Why did I bother with this story? Well, there's a reason it's called a '2-second moment of doubt.' The ride starts before you can think any better of it.
