After being severely injured by konoha Shinobi, Naruto was almost killed. Naruto was saved by a rouge medic by the name of Shinnõ. Naruto is taken out of the village by the request of the Sandaime Hokage. Naruto trains and learns from Shinnõ on how to be a medic, but Shinnõ's death led Naruto back to Konoha to become a medic nin.
Story idea from AmericanDeadpool's 'Medics save lives, but so do Ninja'. I just added some more pazazz!

Lost Generation: Rejecting the Cycle (Naruto One Shot)
Concept: Thousands of Shinobi fought and died over the course of the 3 Shinobi World Wars. Many of them are powerful, talented ninja who have been forgotten as battlefield statistics. These are the stories of those who fell before they achieved legendary status. Summary: Konoha dispatches a handpicked ANBU Kill Squad to confront a former student of the Second Hokage. The student is an Uchiha war veteran who grew disillusioned with the village after Tobirama's death on the battlefield. He went rogue to avoid future conflict, but Konoha can not allow the secrets of the sharingan to run free. Simple: ANBU Kill Squad (4 OCs) track down and confront a rogue Uchiha (OC 3-Tomoe).
