Out of all her friends, Emma seems to have the most normal life. She hasn't had a baby like some of her friends, and she hasn't been beat up by her boyfriend. She's got a good paying job and a car, and she's headed out-of-state for college in the fall. But if Emma's life is so great like people keep telling her it is, then they obviously don't know about last winter. They don't know about what happened, and how close she got to dying, and they don't know how she's falling back into the same routine. Last time, the only one to save her was herself. What if this time, she doesn't?
