Wake up, work, eat, drink, work, sleep, repeat. It was just the same old, boring things repeated over, and over, and over...
But that was all before I met him.
I never looked forward to the next day. Or the day after, or the day after that. The next month even, next year, next century. I had lost all hope. I thought, "I'll be stuck here until I die, no one will save me. "
But that was all before I met him.
Being held prisoner wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare.
But once I had met him, all of that had changed.
Maybe I do have a chance, after all.
After wandering off from clan territory, Brightpaw finds herself being held as hostage by the malevolent group of cats who rule the ragged coastlines. Refusing to speak up and give away the wanted information from the cats, they continue to keep her as hostage, and make her follow the same routine every day : wake up, work, eat, drink, work, sleep, repeat. She was shown no mercy, had the worst food and water, had the worst place to sleep, and could not speak unless spoken to.
But her life changed once again once she had met him, once she had met X.
