"'EAT, EAT, EAT, EAT' was scrawled all over the first page of the journal, and I guess I regret that, because from then on all I saw on the girls' bathroom walls was, 'DON'T EAT, DON'T EAT, DON'T EAT, DON'T EAT'."

I didn't have a reason for it. They all knew everything about me, and I just thought it was kind of cool to have something they didn't know. But then they found out, and that's how the Janie Passbook started.
