A shot at Love
Aya's life was never hers to control. Trapped in a marriage that left her scarred and broken, she never thought she'd escape, until the night fate took matters into its own hands. Now, as she struggles to piece together a life for herself and her daughter, Anaya, the last thing she expects is to cross paths with Eli-the doctor who once witnessed her at her weakest. Eli has his own ghosts to confront. When he sees Aya again, memories of the past resurface, along with emotions he never fully understood. Whereas Aya is guarded, wary, and unwilling to let anyone past her walls. But something about her calls to him, stirring a need to protect, to heal, and perhaps... to love. As Aya fights against the shadows of her past, can she allow herself to trust again? And can Eli prove that some wounds aren't meant to break a person-but to make them stronger?
