A weirdo at school, ignored and abused at home, Sapphire isn't the teenage girl you would expect if you saw her on the streets of New York City.

She's a shadow to the girl she could be. She just needs something. Something she just can't reach. Not yet.

The pain of the bruises she gains each night... it's been happening for so long, it's just a faint ache she's used to, like it's not even there. Yet it's still reminding her she's still there, breathing, living. That she survived yet another day and she has more pain ahead of her. Pain she's receiving from her own family.

If only her dad hadn't died.

Maybe a mysterious leader in blue can save her. But will he manage to fix the life of a beautiful girl with such a damaged and shattered soul?

And then, when she gets turned into a half human, half dragon freak with 'dragon' DNA from another dimension called 'Dimension X', is fixing young Sapphire's soul too far fetched?
