The story of an all Californian girl, Jayla Way, living her life with a secret love for her best friend Zack. When her parents break the news that her and her brothers Gerard & Mikey would be packing up and leaving Huntington Beach to the other side of America, a strain is put on Jayla and Zack's relationship . What will Jayla do when she is forced to leave her best friends and love of her life to begin a new one in New Jersey, of all places? When Zack fails to keep in touch with Jayla, she has no choice but to try and accept her new colder lifestyle and move on with new friends and a new love interest.
