What would you see if Handcuffed was turned into a movie? This might give you an idea with a script I made thanks to the screenwriting class I took this past semester. First though, there are a few things everyone should know before they read it!
First of all, I don't plan to finish this screenplay. I more just wanted to share what I think the beginning of this movie would look like in my eyes. And that's because this screenplay begins before chapter 1 of Handcuffed. It details the days Albany spent homeless and what led up to her arrest in this alternative version of the story.
That's the main reason I am sharing this with you. It shows what I might change if I were to go back and revise the actual book. Some things that happen in this script didn't occur in the book and some things are changed from what you may know from the original. I'm not at all saying I'm changing the book but this displays a few things that I've been playing around with in my head if I were to edit Handcuffed in the future. So please let me know what you think!
Also remember this is a screenplay. Its very different from a book. It only shows what you would see and hear on the screen. Since this is being shown on Wattpad, the format is not what it would be for an actual screenplay so I apologize if that makes it harder to read.
Hope you enjoy it!
