Turning twelve as an Eevee is a monumental task in the village of Pokemon that Jake calls home- that day, each Eevee gets his or her special chance to adventure to the Cave of Reckoning and fulfill their destiny- maturing into an entirely new Pokemon, beyond one's own timid Eevee heart. As the mistreated "runt" at school, he leaps, headlong into his chance at evolution. However, there's always one precaution- no one who ever enters the Cave of Reckoning ever comes out the same, both mentally and physically. Is Jake really ready for what he will find inside?

Within a mystical world called Alora, Vanito, a robotic Eevee lives peacefully in the Luminian cities. It's his 18th birthday, and his older Glaceon friend, Nequam is really eager about his future life and his future manhood. Though something goes wrong during all this, as the wise Alolan Ninetails, Tentatio, isn't here to celebrate with Vanito. As questions brew in his mind of where his wise friend could be, he accidentally comes in contact with an ancient plague that has loomed in a restricted area for many thousands of years. His world crumbling-or rather, his perception of the world crumbling, Vanito has to find a solution to the virus corrupting his code. This is a mini story that takes place within Alora in "Shattered Shadows." All the events that take place in this book ARE canon to that story. Don't worry, you don't have to read Shattered Shadows first, as the experience should not be hindered with in any way! Go ahead and begin with either if you're planning to read both! For clarification, yes, despite the Pokémon being Protogens, they still walk the same way the non-Protogen version does. So if the Pokemon is quadrupedal, then that character will be quadrupedal. The main purpose of this story is to expand upon the world of Alora, since I'm kinda struggling to incorporate it into the main story... sowwy... The posting schedule will be similar to Shattered Shadows. And that means procrastination! Woohooo!!! Cover made by me!

Arcane Explorers: An Eeveelution Story (Original Ver.) de InsomniacJolteon

It was around 150 years ago, when a war broke out among the 8 Eeveelution kingdoms. It was started by the Jolteon kingdom, as a war between themselves and the Vaporeon kingdom. The other kingdoms, excluding the Umbreon kingdom, joined sides with the Vaporeons, and nearly wiped out the Jolteon species completely. The Espeons mined out most, if not all of the thunder stones nearby, and hid them away. That was 150 years ago now. Jolteons are an incredibly rare sight these days. The other Eevees and Eeveelutions have been taught over the years that Jolteons are evil and soulless, and that evolving into one will change your mind for the worse, as well as being a sin against Arceus. Now, about 6 years ago, a couple exploring an old mine discovered one of the very few remaining thunder stones. They brought it home with them, but not without being spotted. Just a week later, they were forced to run away to protect their son from being discovered. They left both him, and the thunder stone behind. Now, 6 years later, there's a certain shiny Jolteon who's about to go on a journey. What may happen along the way? (This is the rewrite of Inside and Out. Some parts may be reused from the original.) However, another man joins Dr. Damian in his presentation- a supposed philanthropist named Cyrus. While the two are surrounded in mystery, Nathan is willing to risk it all to relieve his beloved Pokemon of his nightmares. Did he make the right choice?
