The history books, the ones in the old libraries, told of a past filled with a long string of people fighting over resources, and of people killing each other over beliefs or power. Earth was once filled with people, over 8 billion people at one time, and they just couldn't keep from fighting. Danielle had learned about it in classes, about war and crime and something called birth control. In her world, war didn't exist, and neither did crime. As for birth control, well...evolution (or something more) had taken care of that. At 17, Dani was the youngest person on the planet, as far as she could tell. While others searched the world for a way to beat the virus, Dani's sister Shadow and the other scientists in Oxford were trying hard to make sure that she wasn't the last little sister...ever.

Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
