Three weeks after the events of the Hybrid Experiment, Nathan and Voltflare had only just begun to settle down to have a normal life when Voltflare begins to become afflicted with numerous dizzy spells and visions of an ominous "void-world." Soon after, a mysterious television newscast begins blaring from the room adjacent to Nathan's apartment, informing the two of a doctor in Sinnoh that could potentially help cure this problem. However, another man joins Dr. Damian in his presentation- a supposed philanthropist named Cyrus. While the two are surrounded in mystery, Nathan is willing to risk it all to relieve his beloved Pokemon of his nightmares. Did he make the right choice?
