The VERY long awaited sequel to Adamant: Kate has learned to expect the unexpected since she found out about her demigod heritage. However, the return of Nyx, and her dead mother, are a little more unexpected than she thought. Of course, the most unexpected thing of all is Apollo's choice for the new Oracle of Delphi, the famous seer with the power to forecast the fortunes of empires. Set in the misty Pacific Northwest, and the dramatic avenues of Washington D.C, Kate will face literally ridiculous new challenges as she struggles to survive her divine family.

Dryads are female nymphs that inhabit forests and trees. Along the way with the help of Laelap and a runaway Titan, Rostris comes along life-threatening challenges like being close to Ekho but then missing her, dealing with Hera, Zeus's wife, that is trying to kill Ekho out of jealousy because Zeus likes to consort with nymphs and will stop at nothing to do it, and also being targeted by Ekho's daughter Lynx, who can make spells and will stop at nothing to kill Rostris. But what the real test is that is presented to Rostris is trust. Trusting herself and others because trust can go a long way.Complete
