I was running when it happened. I don't run all the time, just when I feel like it. When I run, it's mostly in the town cemetery, "Angel Ridge". In the small town of Custos, Maine, nothing really happens, which is why I felt safe by myself. Well, at first... That's when I met him. He changed how I thought, and turned my world upside down when he told me everything I know is a lie. After that day, I found out who I truly am. Can I survive my new life as every immortal's prize?

"Is she mine?" The man's superior aura was frightening. He demanded to be respected. My mother grabbed my head and pulled me away from him. Her body shielded mine as I felt her shake in fear. I hid behind my mother, wondering who this man was. "Arizona, don't listen to him." She whispered. "IS SHE MINE?" He screamed at her off the top of his lungs. I winced and gripped my mother's shirt. This man was scary. "You've managed to avoid me for sixteen years, but never once thought to tell me about our child?" Mother averted her gaze. "She's not yours." Bad mistake. His eyes turned pitch black and he let out a fearsome growl. "You're lying."

You'd thinking dying in the hospital due to a terminal illness would mean the end of the story. Not for me though. After having months to come to terms with my incoming death I was pretty prepared for the end. To bad after dying I woke up back up a week later in my grave now I'm alive(sorta). To make matters worst apparently my existence is illegal as hell according to supernatural law. Now I got a pissed off supernatural council mad at me for just existing! Lucky for me it turns out I unknowingly made a quite a few super natural friends while I was human . All willing to help and vouch for me. But this transition is a rough one and it turns out I may more powerful than I should be.

What if there was something slightly different in humanity? A fantastical sparkle? Something inhuman for us? In that world the norms changed from ours and might shock but it is their norm, but one of these people might see a change necessary. (Mature rating on for probable blood and triggers)

December twentieth is the day I remember being brought into the asylum for the first time. Like any typical psychopath, I screamed. I cried. I remember snatching the nurse's hair until she screamed and I was slapped into unconsciousness and thrown into the room. The only difference? I wasn't a psychopath. For the first few days, I would cry maniacally upon hearing any nurse go by, to catch one's attention and tell her that I wasn't insane. "That's exactly what an insane person would say" They said, unbothered and it was as if my fate rested in the mouldy walls of the Asylum. And I soon realized that there was no use fighting for my life now .Which brings me to the present day, another one that I'll mark in history with red. The day I met him.
