What is it that you will leave behind when I meet you at your cross road, between here and the next? is it the best reflection of you or is a mirage clouded with lies. So when i meet you at the crossroads make sure that you left behind something that truly resembles who you are, the true you.

The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech. His mom and dad split only when he was a baby so he didn't know his father and didn't really care but his mother passed so he lived life alone. He moves again but little did he know it would be the last time they moved for a while. He got jobs to keep him in a small apartment and food on his table. A girl who seems to know things about everyone sees him and don't know who he is. She seen him around But doesn't know a thing about him and wants to know exactly who he is. "I'll pass," I said once I'd put the credits into a pouch with the rest and stuffing it into one of my many pockets. "I don't work well with people." "You're a deeply mistrusting person...and I respect that," he said, as if he knew my true reason. "But come on, you need the work. You probably haven't had a real meal in well over a month, have you? If this mission goes well, we can keep doing it until you get enough money to properly be on your own. It's not like I'll hurt you or anything. What do you have to lose?" I didn't say anything. What did I have to lose? Nothing. Not anymore. He was right, I was on my own, I hadn't eaten in days. This was the only chance I had, and if he was tricking me, well. I didn't have anything to lose. "Okay," I said finally. "I'm in."
