Violet's mom gets a new job, in the city. Violet isn't enthused about having to move away. Along the way she finds out her neighbor is the school mystery boy. Her best friend is also her mortal opposite in many ways but alike in many too, and she has no idea how to get through the bullshit ways of high school. Liam her gay best friend along with Mishel try helping her along the way. But mystery really is the only one there. Because he's so close, yet so distant. Just like her.
