Lucy Heartfilia, Levy Mcgarden, and Wendy Marvel are best friends, and known as the 'Sea Dragon Sisters' for their power given to them by real sea dragons. In battle, if they all join together, they will become unstoppable. When Lucy runs away, Levy and Wendy follow her, and all three of them join a ruthless, magical, but kind, pirate's crew. But, with a little inside help. As one by one, they all fall in love with a pirate, they still love to tease each other. Even though, every month on the full moon, no matter what, they will turn into mermaids again until the sun comes back up again. Will that help them? Or will it result to trouble?
