Souls: The Soul Of A Human

In the abyss there starts a spark,
which kindles a small flame,
it quickly engulfs the dark,
then quietly fades as fast as it came,

With the fires dieing breath,
it gives birth to smoldering embers,
to which they will then greet death,
and leave nothing behind to remember,

As the abyss once again takes hold,
the fire that burned leaves no mark,
and it is once again still and cold,
in the abyss there starts a spark...

This is the way of the human soul, a never ending cicle of life and death, back and forth, dark and lite. For centuries mankind has believed that this is how all souls are, and that it is inevitable that a soul will eventually die and a new one will take it's place. However, this is not the same for a demon's soul.

In a land that knows not of demons, how will it survive an onslaught of demons? This is where our story begins, in a land known as Faldon with a question that has not been asked to a people who may not have an answer.
