Sonic the Hedgehog ended up getting a premature visit by Scourge and got a spell cast on him that entrapped a Windigos spirit in him, making him large, capable of breathing ice, and extra aggressive only at night. He also found out that because of Scourge, the Windigos are loose in Mobius, causing chaos and disharmony. He now has to work with his friends while hiding this secret and ridding the Windigos to restore harmony in Mobius.
