Shoes of the Aurora

Aali is an older teenage boy who has lost everything and continues to lose more. He lives in an alley with little to nothing for comfort. Until it gets ransacked by police. The only human he tried to befriend in the last year filled with loneliness, have been ripped away from him just like most of his family. The only ones that are left are ones he can never care for in the way younger siblings need. He is forced into a life where he has nothing and no one. In the dark streets of a chilly night, something cold and metallic will flash in dim lighting. Will that be enough to give Aali the hope that maybe he could get the next phase of his life to play out right? Or will the sharp metal be enough to rip away the only thing he has left? A breath.
