Of Greek origin, the Siren is a mythological beast who is in the form of a beautiful woman who is only matched by her enchanting and mesmerizing voice that lures sailors into their watery graves. Commonly grouped together with the mermaids who can often be more playful and less violent than their counterparts. They harmonize on rocks lying in wait for their next victim. Why they do this is uncertain. Do they affect women as well...what about children? Are they real or fake? One must ask the woman who had a daughter so named after these creatures. Sirena Jones was her daughters name. Sirena who was obsessed with marine life and the supernatural finned creatures who swam gracefully underneath. Her home lies close to the sea where those fanciful fantasy women live. Dare she get any closer to see if her dreams are real? Be careful...truth is stranger than fiction and can be just as dangerous.
