Not once in her seventeen years of life did Alena Galloway think she would meet a real-life wizard. No, not the pointy-hatted Harry Potter type either. This one was the Latin incantation spewing, crazy-eyed mercenary kind. You know, the ones that have flaming fingers and wield six-foot staffs instead of flimsy wands. Just to make a bad morning even worse, this wizard (who preferred to be called a magos,) managed to find her on a crowded subway car just when she finally found the guts to say "Hi" to the cute guy from her trig class.
