The monsters have finally made it to the surface and have been legalized to roam the surface as they please. The first couple of months have been spent as a paradise where humans and monsters have lived in peace and happiness. But as we all know, humans tend to be afraid of what they don't understand and the appearance of the monsters only seemed to have fueled the rising tension.
You are a member of one of the biggest clubs that support the monster's appearance, known as the FMC (For Monsters Corporation). There is a rival club, known as the DM (Destroy the Monsters) that only wants to exterminate the existence of the monsters, and with every passing day, conditions only seem to be getting worse.
Determined, you try to make things right and equal for all beings, but things start to alter when you meet with a certain skeleton.
And with this certain skeleton, you, dear reader, reveal your biggest, most valuable secret...your little "defect".

Instead of you being a human, you're a monster in the Underground. I will continue to go back and edit or merge parts until I have completed the story. I am not affiliated in any way with fangamer.com. This is my 1st story in a VERY long time. I like to do things a little different as far as reader inserts go. 1. Instead of Y/N for your name, I use _______. Why? Because when I'm reading a story and read Y/N I think Y/N and then have to remember the name of the character I've made in my head, where as if I see _____, I immediately replace it with the name because there is no word for me to read. Love it or hate it, comment. I can be persuaded if the masses disagree. 2. I don't do H/C, E/C, etc., because it does the same thing that Y/N does for me. Instead, I will be as vague as I can on insert character descriptions giving the reader more freedom to imagine what they look like without forcing it down their throats. 3. For undertale specifically, I am more inclined to make monster!reader inserts, because that makes more sense to me. This will not always be the case. If the masses prefers human!reader inserts, comment so that I may be persuaded to do so. Also, feel free to ask for requests. The more requests I get, the more inclined I will be to do more stories.
