Have you ever been broken up with? Have you ever not had a title with someone but it was a bond that was so great, but it ardently went left? Have you ever just missed someone terribly but you know they're not even thinking of you.. If you have this is for you, an honest poem that I've wrote coming from a sad place in me.. Kind of like the third wheel sort of thing where you just sit in the back and watch your best friends have fun without you. The thing is, with me, I used to be that fun loving girl that could make anyone smils, but now, I'm that third wheel. The only difference, I have no friends and everyone ignores me. Have you ever wished for love? Has your wish ever came true? But the wish you wished for wasn't exactly....well what you thought it would be? Then when your wish turned bad you realised that you needed to be more percifi about the wish? Like you needed to explain everything? My wish was to find the love of my mate. I eventually found him but...... He was in love with someone else. He was happy dont get me wrong but she wasn't treating him like he deserved to be. My mate deserved way much better than that junk of make up. And she deserved him. Confusing right? That's exactly how I felt. Not the exact emotion I wanted. I learned a lesson by dying once. I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well, I didn't get that, but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce... Royce was two years older than me and had the prettiest purplish eyes and blonde hair. He was the most charismatic person I'd ever met. Then shortly after me and Royce's first appearance we met Jack and Koa. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, until I realized that I had fallen for Royce. And he seemed to fall for me too! COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly.
