Meet Julie McLane and James Leon.
They are two completely different 6th graders in two completely different groups. They live normal lives, with semi-normal friends, in a normal school.
They don't know it yet, but pretty soon, their entire worlds are going to be turned upside down.
(I don't know why it's rated PG13 but it won't let me change it so)
(And also this is like the first thing I wrote on here so it's a bit juvenile and stuff which means dOn'T jUdGe Me YoU dOn'T kNoW mE)

[Book #1 of Twisted Deception] "You people don't know a damn thing about us, don't even speak." **** Everyone knows that high school is always something to dread. GPA, friends, enemies, prom, graduation, everything that you think would make high school good and bad for the future. Now scratch off friends, GPA, prom, and graduation. Why would you scratch them off? Because everything else will be the only thing that's important when you get to this high school. Saint Johnathan Pier is the one high school in the city where everything happens and normally, stuff you wish you didn't see. Everyone warned people about the dangers of the students going there but did they ever mention the people already broken by it? They were dubbed "the rainbow colors of society" just because they were different from other students in this school. But there's a slight differential between them: four of these students are popular while the other four are normal. While the four populars are seen as "superior, hot, and intimidating", the four normals are seen as "weirdos, weaklings, and irreverent bystanders". Being different from the other kids has always been a struggle for all of them since grade school, but they try to keep that out of mind. But with their dark history following them at every corner, making new friends can't be on their list. Matter of fact, it isn't an option. Especially when their attitudes are what drive people away rather than in. Not like they're complaining though. When these eight students get paired up for an end of the year assignment, they encounter a lot of drama that will test their relationships to the max. What will happen to them? Can they grow comfortable with each other? Can these troubled teens even be friends in the first place? Come along on the journey as these eight try to survive their last year of high school. ⚠️TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️: This contains strong language, mentions of rape, bullying, etc.

This story is based on some true events. - (There wont be too much dialogue just explaining some events that happened in my life!!) "The Beginning and End of Best Friends" follows the journey of Eden, a 13-year-old girl starting seventh grade, and her best friend Yasmin, who has always been her rock. Together, they navigate the challenges of middle school, where their shared experiences and unspoken bond make everything a little easier. But as high school draws closer, everything starts to change. As they enter high school, their differences begin to pull them apart. Yasmin, once the girl who always had Eden's back, starts to distance herself, caught up in her own evolving identity. She becomes more focused on her personal growth, and soon, the connection they once had starts to unravel. Eden, though she tries to keep things together, feels the weight of Yasmin's growing indifference, as Yasmin's focus shifts to new relationships and the exploration of her own future. Through the highs and lows of adolescence, Eden grapples with the changes in her life-her shifting friendship, discovering herself, and facing the loneliness that often comes with growing up. As she moves through the complexities of these changes, Eden realizes that sometimes people grow apart, no matter how strong their bond once seemed. "The Beginning and End of Best Friends" explores the emotional journey of growing up, the pains of drifting apart from a once-close friend, and the realization that some friendships, no matter how deep, are not meant to last forever. It's a story of self-discovery, love, and the bittersweetness of change. ------------ STARTED: Dec 9, 2024 ENDED: Dec 9, 2024.
