The last thing I remembered was flipping my pitch black hair out of my face and aiming my gun. I shot, and suddenly it was the end of the beginning. 

My name is Tamara. My purpose in life is now to kill. That's just the way it is from now on, because if I don't kill, I'll be killed along with my family. My life was never normal, just easier. That part of my existence is over now, though, and I do my best not to dwell on it.
