Germany, who had started the war, was in the general vicinity as Amestris was. The only people who knew anything about Amestris were some crazies calling themselves vampires and the students of Ryoutei Academy. Unfortunately, the crazies' father (also known as Karlheinz) turned me into an alchemy teacher there with all his sons as teacher aids.

Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath.
