When going for a walk alone deep into the night, everyone reacts differently. Some find peace it in blinding darkness, others shake in fear of the unknown but with every person in the darkness, the eyes begin to adjust to the light changing the way it is seen. In emotional times of darkness when thoughts of unworthiness cloud your mind, the eyes begin to adjust seeing the realities of life in a new light. 
I write to express my pain, loss, thoughts and all that occurred in my times of darkness in hopes it will show others one day there will be light. For those in darkness you are not alone and one day you too will see a new light.Todos los derechos reservados

all of the light went out. i could see the light but i could never walk towards it. i loved the feel of the sun...but i was never allowed in it. i wouldnt melt like the others, and i wouldnt sparkle like the others and i would criple in pain. i would fight it...but i didnt want to hurt those closest to me, thats why i didnt let him in. we were so close, they all thought that we were together...even he was confused. i was confused...i cannot afford to hurt him. he means so much to me and yet i have only known him for such a little time. i guess to escape the darkness...all i need to do is open my eyes.

Tragedy can happen to anyone, anytime and anywhere, and the saddest part about that truth is that tragedy is unavoidable. No one can prevent a natural disaster from happening. No one can prevent death from knocking on their doorstep - if it's an accident, or a sickness - it cannot be prevented, and it cannot be avoided. You never know on which day tragedy will come knocking on your front door. You never know who it would strike next - if it would be you, or someone else, or someone who is very close to you. The thing is, with tragedy, it doesn't ask questions before it strikes. It just does. River and Sophia were two people who experienced the same tragedy: loss, but their stories were very different from each other, but they shared the same pain of losing someone they loved, someone who was close to them. And now, suffering the aftermath of their tragedies - living with the guilt, the regret, and the grief of losing someone that was close to them, they have to try to overcome everything, before their tragedy ruins their lives forever. Perfect doesn't really exist in her world and everyday she tries so hard to make sure she fits it in. All day long she smiles but all night long lonely tears fall from her tired eyes. Depressions creeps around her world every second but no one notices.
