Every since Amber was young she was treated like crap and by the time she was in elementary school she became immune to it. She never realised that their was a totally different way of living.
Not until she was a junior in hight school and met Jake. 
He has a similar story, but wasn't going to live with it. Although he got out of it he became cold hearted not trusting anyong besides his grandmother who he lives with. What will happen when these two cross paths? Will something spark between them or will their own issues prevent them from finding what both have been looking for unknowingly?
