I sighed deeply as the warm, evening rays of the sun, rested upon my back. A gentle wind blowing lazily instilled the drowsiness. It had been almost a week since I last saw them. I never wanted to see them again. I wanted to turn my head away and forget everything. I lay on my back and turned my head to the left. A single, scarlet flower stood. Alone but blossoming. It needed no one, just itself. "Me and you are pretty much alike, aren't we?" I closed my eyes tightly, and sighed deeply. Bushes rustled behind me and a voice spoke. "Brad, it's time."

I have revamped the story please let me know how you like it I was sitting alone in the park, looking out over the frozen lake, watching the sun set. When I heard something behind me, *Snap* that made me jump, (it was hard not to). As the crackling sounds of leaves, and twigs under a heavy foot, it was larger than myself but also never said I was very big.
