I sighed deeply as the warm, evening rays of the sun, rested upon my back. A gentle wind blowing lazily instilled the drowsiness. 

It had been almost a week since I last saw them. I never wanted to see them again. I wanted to turn my head away and forget everything. I lay on my back and turned my head to the left. A single, scarlet flower stood. Alone but blossoming. It needed no one, just itself.
