"The Moon loved the Sun so much that she died every night to let him breath."

The forest was something that she had always known, something she declared her home at an early age. But the vines that swarmed around her in attempts to engulf her body weren't of the forest she remembered. The vines swung from the high ranging trees in her direction as she took off through the forest. With her feet barely patting against the wet mud beneath her, she could feel the cold mud curling between her toes. It was slowing her down, the entire forest was turning on her. Ducking beneath a quick swinging branch, the young girl barely caught her balance before she felt the swift impact of another branch smashing into her body. Falling backwards into the mud, she felt as the pain coursed through every portion of her body. Her body screamed in agony as she pushed herself in an upright position. The small framed body begging her to give in, to give up, but that was one thing she was incapable of doing. Scrambling back to her feet, she paused for but a moment to wipe the blood from her face before taking off in a dash once more. She would escape from this hell. She would escape from this monster that was herself.

Shaking in her bed, she felt the sweat course from her pores as the realization sunk in. It was but a dream, but she was still stuck here...In the prison they called home.
