Billie lives in an abusive home, with a violent mother and an alcoholic for a father. She is constantly depressed, and music seems to be her only escape.
Until she meets Ayalla.
Ayalla is a relatively normal girl from a fairly stable home. She meets Billie, and the two bright haired girls become fast friends.
Together, they create a band through their shared love of music. Slowly, Billie begins to fall for her best friend.
