These two complete different figures are brought together when Joel is asked to smuggle Ellie over the entire US.
Going from once disliking each other to becoming as close as father and daughter. Ellie and Joel have formed a close knitted relationship from their journey of survival in the post-pandemic world they live in.
Storyline:
After the final cutscene Joel and Ellie make it back safely to tommy's village thinking all their troubles are over. Hoping to live as normal of a life as you can when most of the world is infected.
But is this truly the end of the pair's heart racing journey to survive or is there more ?

In which Joel Miller and Bridget Adams knew each other in the early days of the QZ before she disappeared soon after his brother, Tommy left, hoping to find more beyond the walls. Joel loses hope of ever finding her again after serval years of no contact or traces. However, after passing through half the country with Ellie they discover a small cabin to hold up in for the night and raid for supplies. Not only do they discover the supplies they've been desperately seeking, but Joel comes across the one woman that he hasn't been able to get off his mind all these years. A young girl finds herself living in a disrupted and crumbling world, born into a camp with the intention of teaching girls of youth how to fight, training them to become warriors. Though, Three is completely against the idea of this, sick of the world she was born into, she makes the most of her life by causing plenty of trouble for herself and those around her. Despite her attitude, she is still one of the best fighters in the whole camp. Once her advisors finally get tired of her stunts, they decided to trade her to their most loyal allies, The Fireflies, for other supplies. She starts her journey to her new camp with a group of complete strangers, which Y/N protests against, eventually the trouble finds her once more and she attempts to escape, failing miserably and is transported as some sort of hostage. Plans are interrupted, and instead a group of 3 find her decimated group, Joel, Ellie and Tess decide that since Three provided them with information, they'll help her in return. Though, happiness never lasts forever. - Hey guys, it's been a very long time since I wrote this and I can guarantee you the writing probably isn't great. It does get better towards the end though, just don't expect some crazy poetic bullshit because I did not possess the capability to pull that out of my ass! This is Not the Last of Us
Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part? The other group has a girl their age. This is essentially a Ellie/Reader slow-burn fanfiction. It's also a fix-it fic in regards to the Last of Us Part 2 because I have personal issues with it. Will involve spoilers for both games, but this is mostly a self-indulgent fic. The reader is unnamed and has no descriptors so pretty much anyone can be the reader.
