Having a past that include you meeting Robin only so that years later you meet him again. This time you aren't the damsel in distress, rather you're actually taking care of the distress. Damian remembers you, but he didnt see the helpless ten year old he saw all those years ago when he was just starting as Robin. He saw himself, in a way.
