Lucid: Lost Dreams

(First Book of the Lucid Trilogy)

14 year-old Coffer Howard is an ordinary boy, but not an ordinary dreamer. An overly introvert nerd who hates sports and chooses to spend the whole day strolling, sitting in the house, he finds his hobbies fantasizing, talking to himself about almost everything, and of course, dreaming. Unlike most dreamers, he rarely had bad dreams, and has every night an adventure of wonderful and sometimes strange, surreal visions - not until he gets haunted by what could be his most dreaded nightmare for three consecutive nights.

Afraid to sleep again, he becomes an insomniac and has fallen into a comatose due to lack of sleep. He soon finds himself lost in the world of dreams when he accidentally gets out of his dream globe (similar to that of a bubble in which the dreams of a dreamer happens), after realizing he's only in dream. He then learns, after meeting a few friends (who got lost too), that he is a LUCID dreamer - having the ability to be aware that he's in a dream and if powerful enough, manipulate the dream environment.

Now Coffer and his companions must get back to their dream globes before Lucina catches them - an evil nightmare figure who enslaves LUCID dreamers and uses their powers for her reign of terror.

Together they embark on a breath-taking journey, jumping from one dream globe to another, thus, discovering and experiencing other people's dreams.
