(In the process of editing. This story will not be updated until it is edited! Thank you, for those who are reading and like it! Be patient please! x) After a traumatic war hits the United States in 2008, things change drastically and it doesn't get easier as the years pass by. Everyone turns on each other, and there is no trust whatsoever. Nineteen year old Kyla Davis had lost everything in the war. Her mom, her dad, her brother, and her seven year old sister. Poverty was harder to deal with alone, as the days go by, and the most they have eaten would be a stale slice of bread. No one trusted anyone, and Kyla was the only brave one in her city - Takoma, Washington. There were people that everyone knew not to mess with. They were called The Razors, and they were the kind of people that didn't care what kind of meat they ate. If you crossed paths with them, then you were a goner. They ate through human flesh like it was nothing. They even sharpened their teeth until they were as sharp as a needle point. Kyla does what she does best - kill. She protects her city. Ever since her family was killed when the war began because of a bomb hitting them, she swore that she would do everything she could to protect this city. Until she met a guy with green eyes. He said he knew a safe haven, a place where you were free of any danger. A place were you were safe.Kyla didn't trust him, but she wanted to see if he was right, if there was a safe place. Maybe there was a day after tomorrow.

Kyra grew up in a house that looked like joy and echoed like grief. A home full of rooms, relatives, rituals..everything but the space to feel. From the outside, it was the picture of tradition and love. On the inside, it was a slow, unspoken undoing. She wasn't the daughter who made people proud. She didn't fit the mold-didn't color inside the lines, didn't walk softly. She broke things. Laughed too loudly. Felt too much. And for that, she became the problem no one could name but everyone could feel. This is a story of a girl who tried to stay alive in a place that only wanted her quiet. Told in fragments, like how we remember people we failed. Told in echoes, like how grief haunts even after the body is gone. Told not because it ends in hope but because it matters that it happened. A story about the kind of love that suffocates. About families that feed you but never see you. About how the brightest children can disappear while everyone's looking. She was ten when she thought she had the whole world. She was twenty-one when she realised no one ever truly saw her. And by then, it was already too late.
