The Bad Combo

Lean Kei never took his eyes off Leviathan. Wherever she is, whenever, he is there, he willbe there. If not, well he has ears and eyes everywhere. He has liked Leviathan for as long as he can remember, maybe way back when they were fetuses?

But, he has never, ever have made a move. "Torpe", as we say. What keeps him from refraining, though?

Perhaps the female protagonist who's denser than the planet Saturn? Dense, or maybe she's playing a blind eye from Lean's feelings and running away?
