Evelyn Archer and her brother Evan always did the best they could for themselves. After their mom died, and their dad turned to alcohol, they stuck together and did what they could to stay together and keep on living. It wasn't great, but it worked. Then, one completely regular morning, the zombies came and changed everyone's lives forever. Evelyn immediately was ready to survive. When the attack started, she and Evan were separated, and Evelyn made her way to safety with some of her friends. Now Evelyn is in charge of a group of survivors and keeps getting mysterious memories she doesn't remember having, and on top of it all, her brother is missing. Evelyn must risk everything she has worked to gain in the apocalypse to find her brother, discover the truth about her strange dreams, and do her best to survive.
