Chiharu Arima decided she would spent the last days of her 18th summer back at her grandfather's hometown. There, she found an old mysterious letter that was from a person named Kaori Miyazono.

***

Grandpa's room was dull. The smell of dust was all over the place. But this was a place full of memories...

Every summer, he would teach me how to play the piano and even play the melodica. We always play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star together and I would sing it out loud. The pictures in his desk still remained. How old were these photos? 20? Maybe more than that.

My eyes spotted a picture of him when he was a kid-he was behind with two young girls. That's strange...Why would he put a stolen photo inside a frame? Is it something special? Out of my curiosity I grabbed it and something strange fell as I took a hold of it.

It was a letter. From Kaori Miyazono?

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
