Ariane Serafinos; The Bastard of Xanosia.

But being the daughter of the Prince of Xanosia made her an important bastard; the first in the Serafinos blood lineage.

A runaway, who lived life on the streets because in a moment of weakness, she couldn't handle how her existence tarnished the family name. But then the war began, one that was different to all the rest.

Before the war, she was no one- a stain on a pure blooded Royale family. Until the day they attacked her- the Kaa Drakken. Wielders of the wielders of the darkest form of magic in the seven kingdoms.

Sorcery. It was abolished decades past, but it has resurrected by an unknown force, with a deadly intent.

The Serafinos family hold the throne and will do whatever means are necessary to destroy the plague that threatens to drown their people in their own blood, but what they don't know is that the key to their survival walks among them.

Is one of them.

She was not a warrior. Not trained. Not even a dragon Ryder.

But Ariane is a survivor, and so much more than everything above.

Whether she likes it, or not.

The Roseblood Clan. Three thousand years worth of magic cursing through their people's blood. Long before the Bennetts, before the Travellers, The Other Side and the Ancestors, there had been the Roseblood clan. Witches forged from the dying breath of a dragon in the centre of Scotland. The blood of the dragon was the legacy of their people. Yet, stories and history could be twisted by the victors of the many battles that had plagued the clan. A war between kin had destroyed the legacy of the Roseblood Clan. After a thousand years, their rule of magic had come to a halt. For over two thousand years, a story had been spun. The story of the evil siphoner. The abomination that had ruined their line. Yet, the truth loomed, threatening to reveal the true reason as to why siphoners existed. What their true purpose was. Were they abominations, the bastards of the magical world or were they meant to take power from those undeserving to ensure it was not misused? Only the victor of the battle gets to tell the tale. Athena Flora Roseblood was far from a victor. Being a firstborn Roseblood had cursed her like many others before her. Firstborn women in their line were not meant to meet their first breath of air, they were destined to die, to be sacrificed within the womb to help empower their coven, yet for the first time in two thousand years, a firstborn woman had come screaming into the world. Athena was never been meant to be born. Her blood haunted her from the second she took her first breath, her house divided thanks to thousands of years of lies. Lies that may never come to the light of day. Fear was a powerful totem and after two thousand years of lies, it left Athena trapped within the cage created for her. The abomination, the bastard of nature, the Roseblood Siphoner. Nothing to the world but a mistake and a monster.

The Golden Dragon's Hoard

31 parts Complete

Astraeus, a baby dragon, escapes from his old coven and stumbles upon a little shop that he spends months stealing from and hiding in to survive. The witch and familiars who live there are... strange. They know he takes from them but don't put up different wards, don't do things that could hurt him. They know that he has a hide out in the aster tree, that he lives close-instead of getting rid of him and forcing him to move, they visit him. Talk to him, leave him things, they're kind. Different. Stranger than any other witch or familiar he's ever met. Stray is not used to things that don't hurt. The gentleness is terrifying. He'd rather stay away from them than learn why they don't have sharp tongues or bruised knuckles. However, on the night of a bad storm, he gets trapped inside of the shop, trapped with kind strangers. After getting caught, he discovers another dragon. He learns that life is not meant to be painful. He learns that he can be loved. He's allowed to want things with them. To eat, to not fear the cold, to live instead of survive. Everything changes and Stray is determined to make them his hoard, to make it complete.
