Do you know what it feels like when you feel nothing? Do you know what it feels like to have to force the corners of your mouth up every once in a while, to make sure no one knows what you are going through? Do you know what it feels like when you just want to lay in bed all day? When you don't want to go school, because you hate that place? When you fuck up a good friendship you once had? When you made one mistake, which fucked up quite a big deal of your life? Well I know how that feels. Hi, I am Jaimey Purdy. And this is my story. ~~ dislaimer: Sadly, I do not own black veil brides and this story is all fiction. ~~

"As I was lowered down on my swing into view of the audience, my stomach churned. There were so many people. I had never seen this many before. And of course, me being the wimp that I am, I started getting light-headed. I know, I know. A soon-to-be famous ballerina, preforming every night of the week in front of hundreds of people getting stage fright. I know I should be over it by now, but I'm not. I just...Just...I just. It was too late. I lost my balance and fell from the swing I was sat on, my right leg entwining itself in the rope. I heard a crack. Felt a burst of pain. A loud, ear-piercing screech escaped my lips as the rope wound itself tighter around my leg, crushing it more. Tears fell from my dark eyes. I saw the curtains closing as I was quickly lowered to the ground and people surrounded me."
